Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) in a release has informed that on Monday 25 May 2015, it verified offices of Sierra Leone newest political party, Alliance Democratic Party (ADP). Offices were in Makeni (7 Azollini Highway), Kenema (106 Blama Road), Bo (91 New Gerihun Road) and Freetown (13 Rawdon Street). Earlier on Tuesday 7th April 2015, a temporal registration was given to ADP. 10th April 2015, a notice of the application was published.

Health Minister Fofanah convinces Global Fund to be Flexible on Procedures
Geneva, May 26, 015 (SLENA) - In 2014, Sierra Leone received from the Global Fund an allocation of US$ 126 million to fight HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria. But in order to access the funds the country needed to submit an application in the form of a Concept Note to the Global Fund. The Concept Note would then be reviewed by a special committee of the Global Fund, the Technical Review Panel (TRP).

Late Mrs. Gladys Kahinday Bangura passed away on May 10, 2015 after suffering a sudden attack. She died in her bedroom surrounded by her kids. She even placed a phone call to her son living out in Kambia** few minutes before she died. That kind of passing, surrounded by loved ones, is reserved only for those who are blessed. She did not suffer for days or weeks or months in agony. As a Christian, The Bible taught her in Psalm 90:10 that days of human life on this earth are 70 years. She died at age 74 years.

We were told that the Human Rights Officer -Eastern Region, Mr. Hassan Samba Yarjah, was arrested for merely "talking" on the radio and at Kenema Police station. TODAY, I have now published a copy of the Police Medical Report Request of April 27th 2015 for the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police - East Alfred Karrow Kamara who alleges that after Yarjah left the SLPP Office where he tried to prevent the arrest of Fonnie, he drove to the Police Station where Yarjah allegedly engaged in unruly acts including using his official Human Rights Commission vehicle to drive and hit the leg of no less a person than AIG Karrow-Kamara.
